Bethel Home, residential care facility for the elderly, is located in serene residential area in Fremont, CA. We have been serving the Japanese seniors since 1987, providing a home-like atmosphere and very personal care for the residents.

About us

Mission of Bethel Home

Bethel means “a place where God is present” which is mentioned in the Bible.
The mission of Bethel Home is to serve the Japanese senior with love and respect,
and help them to enhance the quality of their life.　　

A residential care facility for the elderly is a voluntary living arrangement
for people 60 years or older. This is designed for seniors who require
non-medical care and supervision of their daily living
activities such as dressing, bathing and taking medication.

What We Provide

1. 24-hour care and supervision
2. Three well-balanced meals and snacks
3. Assistance with taking prescribed medication
4. Laundry and house keeping
5. Transportation to & from Yuai-Kai Day Care Center
6. Safety accommodation

Our Background

Owner and administrator have a BA of Psychology with Gerontology study.　
The caregiver has been worked as a nurse in Japan.
Owner and all the staff are Japanese Christian ladies.

「神様が共におられる所」ベテルとはそういう意味で、聖書からとられた名前です。
フリモントの静かな住宅地に位置し、日本語、日本食、そして家庭的な雰囲気の中で
パーソナルなケアがなされます。

　個々の精神的必要を満たすように考えられたプログラム、健康面を考慮したリクリーエーション、さらに日本の伝統行事も取り入れるなど、健康で豊かな心と精神を保つことができるよう考えられた日系老人のためのボーディングケアホームです。
州からのライセンスも有しています。

１．少人数の家庭的処遇の中で、キリスト教の愛の精神に基づき、個々の人格を尊重し、　
　　暖かい交わりが生まれるような配慮がなされます。

２．施設のオーナーは心理学、老人学を学んだ二人の日本人クリスチャン女性で、20年
　　の経験を持っています。

　　で精神的に安定され、のびのびと生活されています。
